We have established 3 new practices under the names of Boogertman Tomane Moteane + Partners, Boogertman Urban Edge + Partners and Boogertman Langa + Partners, operating from Bloemfontein, Johannesburg and Durban. Black partners with financial, technical and staff assistance from the existing Boogertman + Partners practices, manage these offices.
The purpose of these practices is to ensure and support the immediate and effective black empowerment in our profession.
We continue along a road, embarked upon some years ago, to transform our practice in an environment where the industry struggles to attract sufficient numbers of previously disadvantaged candidates.
Within the framework of BBBEE (Board Based Black Economic Empowerment) we are proud to have achieved a 49.95% score from the Empowerdex Rating agency. This qualifies Boogertman + Partners as a level 6 contributor.
It is within the framework of BBBEE that we are proud to be associated with the Raizcorp Incubator Programme through which new small businesses related to the construction industry will be exposed to a full year's training programme introducing them to all aspects of the business environment. Furthermore, through our sponsorship we have been able to support the Life College in Soweto , where 30 girls in Grade 10 are selected to be exposed to life-skills training and life-skills champions. |
