The idea of publishing a book came to us when we realised that we had been practising architecture for 25 years. What to do? What we were sure about was that we did not want to focus on how old we had become, but rather on how young we still were, and that it was more important to celebrate the future than to produce a typical retrospective of all our previous work.

It was, however, also clear to us that we could not ignore the fact that our successes, the continued support of our clients, the team work with the innumerable professional consultants, and the realisation of the these projects by the contractors and sub-contractors, as well as the efforts of our dedicated staff and previous partners, are the reasons Boogertman + Partners have been able to grow and continue to produce high-quality works of architecture that meet our clients and end users needs.

After various ideas workshops it became clear that we had to celebrate the past, present, and future in very distinct ways but, at the same time, collectively. The 3-book box set was the solution.
